This here is the final product of a project I undertook when I was attending sixth form. To cut a long story short, it is a novella about a child (a bookworm), the trauma which befalls him, and, most significantly, the aftermath. The setting is World War 2, so it's pretty much evident what horrible experience he has to go through.
Without further ado, here goes!
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 1 - A Bookworm's Torment
A boy who loves to read - to more than one end, and with more on his plate that a child should bear.
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 2 - Siren in Disguise
I know it's a long chapter with a lot of tedious descriptions but bear with me. Richard has a dream which flows into reality (more of a nightmare)
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 3 - A Conscience's Tale
The chapter I've been longing to upload! To make things clear - Life, Death and Sleep are personified as entities in the novella. Have at it )
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 4 - Problems with Relatives
Chapter 4 of Conversations with Myself
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 5 - The Last Glimpse
Chapter 5 of CwM!
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 6 - The All Clear Sounded
Chapter 6 of Conversations with Myself
-
Conversations with Myself: Chapter 7 - Conversations with a God
Chapter 8 of Conversations with Myself
