  • I love your avvie. <3

  • Hello, I'm back. Sorry I keep dropping out so much. I'll be publishing a couple chapters of Rise of Northwind tonight. Yes, I'm revising it: a lot. There's no longer a Dark Infinity pack and there will be much, much more conflict inside the pack.

    - Inconsistent KatGirl

  • Well, I've got an amusing story to tell you guys. :3 And this one's about the 4th of July, of course.

Naturally, we saw a car that had a Barbie head stuck to it and tin-foil plastered to the back of some old guy's car. He had things on it like: "Vote for Joe," "Vote for Bob,"(there is nobody up for any sort of election with those names), and he gets out of the car and puts up a sign that read:
"Save the clitorises" and hung it up on the fence. Someone from the car next to us jumped out, took a picture, and ran in his car and drove off. I would do that too. xD

Than he got out another sign and put out: "Circumcision creates killers." I was literally laughing my head off. The old guy was either senile or mentally ill; but you can't really help it when you see that.

Even before the fireworks started he drove off with his signs(he probably goes around advertising it on holidays), but yeah--just felt like I should share that "wonderful" story with you. I thought it was more entertainment than the fireworks, to be honest. :3

  • Preview of ARC Ch.3

Kane Alder shoved through the sea of blithe smiles and laughing faces. Not a second glance was thrown at him, all dismissing him as only a confused teenager lost in a crowd. He attempted to scan the swarm of people, but was abrupted by the shoves of passerby.

How ignorant can they possibly be? he thought as he pushed deeper into the throng. The gaze of a girl caught his eye; one that lingered too long. Time seemed to stop for only a fraction of a second. Kane could still see the figures of people, but it was like he was watching a movie in slow-mo. Flecks of blue, grey, and silver spiraled in her eyes that reminded him of a serene tempest.

She was a loner in the crowd with no parents in sight. It was a strange occurence, but also intrigued him. The tide of people resumed again, and the girl had vanished into thin air. He fastened his pace, taking wide strides, as though he could flee from the scene. Kane ignored the irritated scowls of people as he nearly tripped some of them over. Had it been one of those androids... his thought trailed off. Biting his lip, yet again he scanned the faces of different people, taking in their attires and faces.

None of them where who he was looking for. Aggravated, he pratically stomped through the crowd, shoving anybody who got in his way. Looking to his right, he found a familar face standing at the verge of the mass of tourists-or at least, what he assumed was Ace. Her brown, wavy hair fell to her shoulders with grey, cold eyes. She had her arms folded across her stomache and had a banal look written across her face. "Ace, right?" Kane asked.

"You've got that correct. Anyway. Can I trust you with this information?"

"Because I've shoved through a crowd of idiots, I think so, yes," Kane confirmed with a dry tone. Ace raised an eyebrow, but said nothing more on the topic. She paused for a moment before launching into a void of speech that never seemed to end.

"This association was formed for a myraid of reasons, our sole purpose being to prevent usage of any Arkian technology: Moonbeams, Plasma Rays, things of that sort. If too much usage of this technology are used, the Arcs could power out for at least another century.
Considering they've just regained power, it's wise not to repeat that mistake again." Ace cleared her throat, looking for any reaction in his face, but his face was a blank canvas.

"We've recently discovered some...problems. Two idiots have been using Arkian technology. They've been classified with the names Aurora and Jay, I believe. Not only do they use the technology, but they have more knowledge than they should know. We can't let them do this. If they reach their goal, than that would be completely our fault. All I ask of you is to help capture them. Perhaps, if you do succeed, you may be accepted in our ranks." Kane considered this. Living among one of the world's most secretive societies seemed full of adventure, but dangerous too.

"I'll try it out," Kane grimaced at his choice, but he felt compelled to serve them. Why not? The thought of the young girl entered his mind. Should he tell her about the strange girl? Not yet. he scolded himself, You can't trust her.

"Great." Ace said, satisfied. "Take this. It can only be used once-it'll take you to Cato,"

She handed him a necklace laden with silver pendants and charms with one onyx gem in the center of it.

See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. Ask for no guarantees, ask for no security.
