Reason I've been inactive lately's cause I'm moving to the US in a few weeks (from da UK). My dad got sum job offer so he said ye.
So I'm still packing my bags, finishing the last couple of weeks of schl & saying goodbye to the mandem/bruddas/children/people/random folks in my neighborhood.
tbh the difference between UK and US housing is craaazy though.
also in a rush rn which is why spellins trashhh

How to recognize if a review has been made using AI:
- AI never gives opinions (obviously)
- AI only speaks in statements
- Never says 'your story'
- Never gives improvements, if it does then they're all just
language/structure improvements.. never something about a specific
character (if ya get what I mean)
- Pretty much just summarizes your story rather than telling what was
good/bad
- Doesn't describe your story (doesn't say anything along the lines of 'this
story was really nice')
Soo, unless someone tells ChatGPT to not write like this, you can probably tell if the review was from an AI.
Here's an example of an AI review (using my own work as the reviewed story):
(sorry for the poor quality, this is just a screenshot)...
alliyah Great info and tips! On the poetry-side you'll also see a lot of "$10 words" or "big poetry words" littered throughout without very much overall analysis of how those big techniques connect.
It's hard at first to catch from a moderating stand-point at first too just because it's unexpected. But if anyone notices a review you expect was written by an AI don't hesitate to reach out to a mod who can also evaluate it and take action if needed.

IcyFlame Almost always says 'show not tell' as an improvement, but then can't actually give any specifics of where the author tells and doesn't show. I've found a couple of times that if you question some feedback the response is 'apologies, upon closer inspection there aren't any cases of X in the provided text'.
Also ^ what alliyah said!

So, in schl today we were put in groups and we had to analyze this photo.
Great, the group I was working in included my ex-best friend (long story short, she's the WORST). I was doing most of the work and asked the group 'What does this photo remind y'all of?'
And she stared at ME intently and just said with the most devilish smile I've seen,
'Bratty Children.'
What an absolute ..............

IcyFlame best wishes for the move! The cloudy grey UK will miss you xD

Sooo some kid got caught cheating in their GCSEs (US Equivalent = High School Graduation Diploma). Basically, he was using Morse Code to talk to other students by tapping on the table with his pen. Apparently one teacher knew Morse Code and caught them all using it.
Honestly, if you have time to learn and become fluent in Morse code, just learn the stuff..
GengarIsBestBoy This is like those tutorials you see on how to hide your phone in a calculator
Like??? You could’ve taken that time to study

HB1103 I know right, like having to learn in ENTIRE LANGUAGE just to cheat is an absolute waste of time
