Hi, fellow nerdfighter!

DFTBA...

I hate being sick.

I have decided to ditch the version of the first chapter I completed earlier. It didn't explain things how I wanted and I made things out to be bigger than they were. It also made Joson look like a sissi. I am happy to say I am not in mourning for it. My new approach is in the third person and includes flashbacks to key points of his life.

School starts the 18th for me. It's going to be fun spacing out in class.

“Ah, okay. I think he convinced everyone that saw that I am someone’s bitch.” I leaned against the wall, the cold creeping up my spine. It was a little embarrassing to be shirtless in front of J.J., but what harm could it do?
“Are you?” I felt the urge to slap him, but restrained myself.
“Hell no.” I glared at him. “Why would you even ask that?”
“I don’t know, but I can picture you being someone’s bitch.”

A great story does not have to be five books long. Remember that.

I don't know how many people (or stalkers) read this, but I have very good news for those members who want to know what's happening with my story (it is NOT on YWS).
A) I finally have a solid start (happy dance!)!
B) I have introduced most of the main characters fluently within the first 10 pages.
C) I have gotten good remarks on it (not entirely sure if she was lying)
D) I have stopped reading manga long enough to actually write!
2,278 words down (7 book pages), 57,722 to go (till a novel)!

Honestly, Dream Boy (2008 film adaptation of the book) is the saddest, best, most beautiful movie I have ever seen. It made me cry at the end... See it, people. It's on the web for free. Let me find the link.... Ah!

Thanks so much for the review! It really made me feel better abou the poem. I was a little hesitant at first about posting it, but now I'm glad I did!

Hey, thanks for the thoughtful review! I have to admit I'm pretty hesitant about not using "said" because I find saying, "protested," "demanded," "squealed" and that kind of thing to be sort of distracting whereas "said" is invisible -- but I really appreciate the input!
