I worked at FedEx Ground with my wife for about a year, and we would set our alarm for 4:30AM, hop out of bed, get dressed in our work clothes, then fall back in bed and set the alarm for an hour. I don't know why. It was a horrible sleep schedule. I used "Glory to Arstotska" for my alarm tone and I grew to hate it.
One time we were going to go to a Christmas party and we decided to take a nap before, so we went to sleep, and when my alarm went off I got up and realized that the alarm was for 5:30. I panicked, thinking that we'd slept through the first alarm. I got dressed in my ratty work clothes, and noticed that my wife wasn't getting ready. "Why aren't you getting ready? We're going to be late!"
"We've got time."
"No! We have to go now!"
"The party doesn't start for an hour."

I really hate first shift is what I'm saying.
