    Where are you?

  • I picked my GCSE options today idk how I feel.

Math science and English and a language you HAVE to do no takebacks and either history or geography (I picked geography)

You get two additional subjects and a reserve.

I picked French as a language I never studied Spanish and German neither except for like 4 months at my last school. RE(religious education and society or smth. It's not just religion it's about society too the main focus the impact of religion) and textiles. My reserve is music because textiles may not happen, and I need to break up the flow with smth creative so music is my best bet because I'm OBSESSED with it

    So yeah 😬

IcyFlame I always hate how restrictive these things are! Our school was an art school we had to pick an art for one of our four options and that meant your were so limited. RE is a good choice I think because as long as you can speak about your opinion and the opinion of one religion you're pretty much guaranteed a good grade.

Hope you're happy with your choices :)

illy7896 Thank you and it is so restrictive. The fact I will never again study those subjects is a little scary. Thank you and I am pleased with my choices, took a while but I got there!

  • I know this is silly but I submitted my work to my school for a poetry competition andddd

    I didn't win!!

But I'm really happy because they said that the judges thought all the poems were reallyyy good and that the competitors, even if they didn't win, have buckets of talent and should always continue writing!

And they emailed me about another poetry competition which I will definitely be part of!

Just wanted to share this with you all hehe thank u for reading and yeah and thank you in general!

  • How do you add spaces in your work?? Like gaps between verses/paragraphs? Computers are so complicated 😔

Ljungtroll For an indent you press tab, for a crot (big white space) you just hit enter twice

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
