How old are you? I am 21!
What are you doing with your life? Well, 2025 was a year of adventure for me! I spent the first quarter of the year teaching grades 4-6 in Zambia, which was fantastic! Then I got home, and moved to the middle of nowhere to work at a camp. So I spend most of my time rock climbing, doing archery, cooking, hiking, gardening, and working with kids! I went to South America and learned lots of cool stuff! Now I am working on my bachelors degree in Metaphysical Sciences. Ask me about it, it’s really cool stuff!
Favorite book? Oh my, there are too many. Favoruite Stephen King books: The Long Walk, Pet Cemetery, The Shining, Carrie, or any of his short story collections. Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman. All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. 1984 by George Orwell.
Favourite movie? TV show? Schindler's List is my favorite movie ever. I also love the Disney Pixar movie 'Soul'. I have watched all of Grey's Anatomy three times and somehow it is my comfort show. I also loving watching Survivor and am a pretty hardcore fan.
Favorite animal? I love cats! Capybaras are also awesome, as well as very large green owls... Oh yeah, and elephants and lions and zebras... oh my!
Where are you from? Canada!
What do you do on YWS? I am a Global Moderator! My favorite YWS events are NaPo, NovMo and LSS. I mostly spend time on the poetry and literature side of the site. I also love roleplaying! I am really active in Randomosity and WFPs so you will probably find me there.
I also run the Free Verse Club! Every month, we have contests, so feel free to submit a poem or even be a judge with me! I love ideas for themes and love helping hands! If you want to be an official volunteer, please ask to join this club for more information. (Currently taking a bit of a break from this, but still feel free to reach out and check it out!)
I take Review Requests as well! I mostly review poetry, but I am open to reviewing anything! I also enjoy beta reading if you want me to take a look at your novel draft and offer some feedback (although I might be a bit slow at reading currently, with traveling/work, but I will add it to my list).
I have an Art Forum where I mostly post digital drawings I do of Duolingo and travel pictures.
I have a thread for my Poetry Novel as well! Oh, and if you want to check out more of what I am working on, you can also take a look at my forum for my Fiction Novel!
I also write for Squills! My articles are about... lots of stuff! I have a collum called "Poetry Around The World" where I write about poetry in places I travel. I also love interviewing members and writing about YWS events. If you wanna be interviewed, send me a PM! I recently became an editor for Squills as well!
What sort of writing do you do? Poetry books! I write poetry books but I also love LOVE horror short stories (my profile is in eternal Halloween mode) and honestly... anything. Writing is my passion and my favourite hobby!! If you want to collab with me, the answer is "why have you not asked yet & YES!"
What other hobbies do you have? I love riding my bike to the ocean, traveling, crocheting, digital art, diamond art, petting cats, rock climbing, reviewing, singing in choir, broadway stuff, being outdoors, teaching nature classes, and reading! Deep sinks are the GOAT.
