Not sure if I qualify as "young" for much longer, as I'm 21 now, but young adult is probably my favorite demographic, so I guess it fits.
About my writing-- I've been told I am an excellent writer. I've got a couple of fanfics floating around the web with good reviews*, and I'm working on one large novel project at the moment which I hope to publish.
Unfortunately, that * above is because I only ever finished one out of about five. I mostly see writing as a hobby rather than a job, so when the inspiration stops, I close the page and go on facebook. It's not helping now either that other obligations and distractions are pulling me from it, either. It's definitely my worst quality as far as that's concerned. >.<
I know this post is getting pretty long, but I figured I'd say a little about myself for whoever's interested. I'm a guy from Florida who fits pretty neatly into the "nerd" category. I love history, science, computers and video games, and to a small degree, sports. I haven't actually been reading lately (for shame
) but my favorite literary genres are sci-fi and fantasy. To name specifics, I'm a big fan of Isaac Asimov, and the Harry Potter series.Looking forward to meeting people!
