Greetings :D I'm brand new here and I'm like so excited to finally find an environment just full of writers!! I've been branded nerdy-freak-who-spends-her-life-with-her-nose-in-a-book ever since I began lugging the Harry Potter books around with me in first grade. My passions are basketball, reading, writing, and blasting music in my room :D I'm a complete stickler for proper grammar and spelling (I drive my friends nuts). I've been writing for as long as I can remember and can't wait to start putting some stuff up and getting feedback. I'll finish this up now--adios! :P

Hey Paiger! Welcome to YWS! You've picked the write place to publish your story c:
And don't worry, everybody here is just (or maybe more) the same as you are.

By the way, what's your favorite genre? Or rather, what do you enjoy writing? Poetry, prose, etc.?

Hey Paige, welcome :3

Harry Potter fun, huh? You'd find a lot of us around here. I also love reading, writing and music too. Any favourite songs (well except for Greenday obviously, but still, I absolutely love them :D)? Oh and wow, basketball, I'm not much of a sports person, but I usually go jogging 'round the neighbourhood.

Anyways, hope you post some stuff soon. Pop by my wall or send a pm anytime!

Writing and reading rocks!
Welcome to YWS, Paige, you'll fit right in!

Do you enjoy reading more than writing or vice-versa?
What kind of genre do you prefer and do you have any favorite writers, though I am going to take a wild guess based solely on my mental telepathic abilities and say it's J.K Rowling but who knows, I might be wrong.

Anyway, enjoy the site and just drop me a pm if you're lost. I'll be more than happy to lend a hand. You can also contact any of the other green members (Junior mods).

There are three rules for writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

I love both reading and writing equally, but sometimes I do prefer reading just to imagine myself writing a book like it. I've always been a huge fan Fantasy-Fiction, and whoa how did you guess about Rowling?! You are scarily talented :)

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
