Here is something i rustled up in 30-40 mins. it is a knight a pictional land in my novel, Calamhia be its name. This armour is much as it was in the third age before the Nyshuhrians fled their burning land to fall upon the shores of Mhia in Areddun.
it is mainly red and silver although i have not coloured it, didn't get chance to finish the bottom part.

Not many remember how life there began, in the lands amidst surrounding walls of stone and pools of deep darkness, but whilst they forget the secrets of the past, they begin to riddle the future with their growing lust for knowledge, greatness and power.

Very nice! This is really impressive for having been drawn in under an hour :) I really like your shading, it's something I have trouble with. And the pose is very nice, too.

There's not much to critique, I don't think, but I'll point out a few things.

First of all, I don't know if it's just me, but he doesn't look very tall. The arms look short to me and so does the torso. I assume the torso ends where the belt does, but I'm not too sure because of the cloak covering the view. So I would just check those things and see if your anatomy was right (since this is a more realistic drawing). It would probably be hard to erase your pencil and fix things, but if you know how to edit your pictures digitally I think you could be safe with just resizing a few areas.

Oh, and I would've liked to see the whole sword as well, I don't really like how it's cut off. I really like weapon designs x)

Hope this was helpful, let me know if you have any questions :)

Hey, i would have loved to continue the picture, especially with the sword, but i ran out of space on the paper, may try 'editing' it later to finish it off.

I'm not too sure about arm length, i always imagine it as if it were my own arm and what it would look like if i moved it :?

anyway thanks for the comment! always appreciated :D
