Work in progress, might ink in and color later. This is for Isha's character Questio. Not used to drawing boys, so. XD

First time ever vectoring, so quite a few mistakes there.

Celty! ^.^

I like the big eyes and the overall look of the face. I think maybe if you're worried that it looks too feminine then you could try to alter the hairstyle a bit. Because the sideburns (I'm not sure if they are the actual side-burns) are a bit long-ish and to me, I think that's what gives it away. The glints of the eyes (or the white oval on the pupil of the eyes) don't quite seem equal. The one on the right eye looks more bigger than the one on the left.

I think maybe the proportion of the neck to the face seems a bit off too because the neck looks really thin and that makes the head look bigger. The same can be said for the rest of the body that you've drawn out for him too. But that's just me being very nit-picky. xD

But the overall image lets the viewer focus only on the face because that's the most prominent feature of this character. And it's well-drawn too! I'm looking forward to seeing how much more you improve it by means of colouring and if possible, some re-drawings of certain parts that I've mentioned above. All in all, it's a nice sketch and I think once you've finished with it fully, it'll be much more appealing that it already is. Good luck with this and keep drawing more, Celty! ^.^

It's about being heard.

Hi! This looks good :) I don't think you have anything to worry about with this guy looking girly. You did a really great job making him look boyish, especially since you aren't even used to drawing guys x)

The character design is simple, but I like it. Since murtuza already went over a lot of the proportions, I'll just focus on the coloring. First of all, it's very clean. You definitely did an awesome job on coloring inside the lines and getting a good base color. But for me, that's all I see is just base color. There isn't really any shading or highlights, which is really what makes anime-styled drawings pop. So it comes off as a bit flat or 2-D.

To fix that, I suggest creating a new layer and adding shade. I like to use a soft airbrush tool and gently add darker colors to places like under the bangs, by the nose, under the chin, that sort of stuff. Then you can make another layer on top of that and use it for highlights. I think maybe if you spent an hour experimenting with shading it would really help.

great drawing!!

The bad news is we don't have any control.
The good news is we can't make any mistakes.

If I had control over the quote generator, I feel like I would put half of YWS in it.
