My problem is I know certain evens I want to have happen, I just have no idea how to connect from one event to another. My advice is leave it and come back to it when you get a new idea for it. If you get an idea for a new story, try seeing if you can incorperate into the old one. If not, just write a new one. Make sure you like your story. Just taking one idea and going with it as long as you can is a good idea too. Also, show your work to lots of people, they'll give you ideas.
