Hey everyone!

What's up guys,

I've been writing for quite a while now, as probably most of you have been. I've always had an admiration for intricate storytelling, therefore, I've delved into the craft for many years. I even wrote competitively in high school for a few years, but now that I'm finishing up the first half of college, I've decided to revisit that which I love so dearly.

I'm eager to get to know some of you and to sift through many beautiful and imaginative works that this community has created. Personally, I just got done submitting the first four entries of an ongoing horror series that I began posting online a few weeks ago.

Anyway, it's great to be a part of such an active community, and I can't wait to see what it's in store. I feel like great things happen here.

I'm so glad you've joined YWS! There's never a dull moment here if what you're looking for is great reviews, works, procrastination, making friends and just overall having some fun. I do hope we all get to see all of those pieces you've been writing and I'm sure you'll get great response from the members here.

Returning back to that passion of writing is a great thing. Feel free to browse through the forums for creative resources and tips, lounging and other such features that YWS is abundant with.

Hi there! It's great to meet you, and welcome to YWS! I hope that you find everything you're looking for here, and I can't wait to read some of your work!

Anyways, why don't you tell us a bit more about yourself? What kind of music (if any) do you listen to when writing? Do you have a favourite author? What's the best book you've read recently?

Personally I love listening to music, and will listen to just about anything, though I do draw the line at rap or hip hop. For some reason I just cannot stand listening to anything like that.

First of all, a warm and big welcome to you on joining YWS. Like you said, this is a very active community and theres so much to do here.

Just like cat said, we'd love to know more about you. What are your hobbies and stuff; its a really easy way to bond here.

I suggest to start off with reviews, writing in forums or joining a storybook or two. Storybooks are basically when someone starts off with an idea and usually anyone can join into the group, its like a group writing and personally, its one of my favourite places here.
