Hi AliyahPillage I really like these photos. I'm going to do these one at a time.

1. Though the quality of this photo isn't great I really like the set. The background adds a lot to the mood of the picture. I also like how your model has found the light. My one complaint for this is the blotch of light in the upper right hand corner. Cropping that and the little black dot would be very helpful because those to things draw my eyes away from the girl!

2. This is my least favorite photo. Not because it is bad mind you, but because your other ones are so good! The background on this is a bit distracting as well. Though the only way you could change that is major editing. The thing that distracts me most is the little gray blob on the right-hand side. It draws my eyes away from her face. I like this photo because, though you can't see the girls eyes, there is so much emotion in it. Great work.

3. This is my second favorite photo. The quality is obviously much better than in the other photos. I have no complaints for this photo. I just love it!

I hope I helped. P.M. me if you have any questions!

Hey, Aliyah! :D

This is a nice set of photos that gives us a slight glimpse into your friends' imaginations and what's really great is that even though each photos context or emotion is similar, they're all still pretty unique by themselves.

The first one is my favourite. Her stylish posing and hand-on-chin method to bring about that 'Thinker' image and she's done well to pull if off. Yes, the background's a bit blurry and not as crisp as I'd like to be but it still makes for a convincing shot. Kudos to your friend for being such a creative and versatile subject.
I find that here, the slight creak of light from the top-right corner could have been more tastefully placed. Had you caught the correct angle, you could have made the light fall on her face like a spot-light. And that would make this ideal in its scenario.

The second one is calm, peaceful and pensive. No fancy stuff here. It's simple and is straight to the point. This is my friend and this is her sitting and reading (if that's what she's trying to show us). But I'm not as much grasped by the pic as much as I was by the previous one. It's still good, but with a bit of a background, it would be better.

The third photo is quite different to the previous two. It's got much better clarity and distinction. I like this photo and the use of the rugged wall as a backdrop does well to add to the mood of the pic. But the question here is - does the backdrop and setting match the boy's character? Maybe yes, maybe no. But this is just me speculating and over-thinking the main concept of this picture. It's a very nice picture and your subject is really a great poser. Great job ^.^

I'm not really sure if you intended on posting these pictures with the purpose of having them reviewed or critiqued intensively or whether you just wanted to show us how your awesome friends looked. But in any case, friends are always greater than gold and I'm sure you enjoy their company a lot. So keep having a lot of fun! And keep snapping! :D
