I know this is really crappy still. but I have fixed it. The stanzas have rhythm now (5858) and any slightly rhyming lines have been changed. Suggestions are greatly appreciated; just rip it apart if needed.

Lend Me Your Shoulder

I'm stuck all alone
Needing a shoulder to cry on
But there's nothing there
Just the still and empty silence

Friends off having fun
All taken from me, trust broken
Ev'rything builds inside of me
With nowhere to spill

Will no one listen?
I try to explain it to you
But I get shot down
Ignored for yet another time

Finally you wonder
Why am I so sad all the time?
No one talks to me
They will not even understand

The dam builds itself
Growing higher everyday
Feirce emotion falls
Escaping from what's held at bay

Do you not know of
what you do to me ev'ryday?
It is nothing now,
But that's just the problem you see

I'm fed up today
Now you are going to listen
Lend me your shoulder
Can you be my friend, won't you please?

I'm sick and tired
Of being left all alone again
No one to talk to
Just the empty and silent air

You're scared to see me
Looking all so sad and forlorn
You've left me alone
You've commit the crime to me

Please will you help me
Let me cry on your dtrong shoulders
Let me heal old wounds
I don't want to be left alone

SPELLING!
stil should be "still" an should be "am" higer should be "higher" Feirce should be "fierce" Spell check, won't you? :D
Either I'm really tired or there was no rhyming, cuz I didn't notice any. However, the rhythm is off. The stanzas take on different lengths and beats as you continue through the poem. If you started out with a certain length, you should keep it that way. Try counting the syllabuls to keep the lengths of the corresponding lines the same.
And you're right; this poem's idea is cliche, but it expands on an idea that has been discussed and written about for a long time, so its fine. Plus, you add your unique circumstances to it, enriching it. Most writing is a new twist on an old idea.
Just work out your line length and rhythm. Once you've done that, look over it again and there will be more things to change. For now, this is all I'll say. :D

You didn't keep to one rhyming pattern-some stanzas had the rhyming pattern ABCB, some were ABBC, and some had no rhyming at all. It would flow much easier if you maintained the same pattern throughout. Either that, or forget about rhyming altogether, which would be less restrictive, and you could work on adding personal experiences and touches to it without the pressure of trying to make it rhyme. You need to make this personal to you.
Matt.

Now there's only a couple of rhymes. Which means that, when there are rhymes, it makes that place seem awkward. Also the metering is off.

And, usually I don't try to critique the meat of a poem, but this is driving me crazy. The message of the poem is a plea for help, asking for forgiveness and acceptance from a friend. Right? Right. My favorite type of these poems is actually a psalm in the bible. Perhaps, when I get home and to my bible, I'll find it for you. But really... that poem was short. This poem seemed to drag on forever.

Remember -- brevity is the soul of wit. What do you want to say? How can you say it without becoming too longwinded? If you have too, outline your poem. Just don't let go on and on and on...
