Birthday Gift for Lavtwin (AzaleaLexis)

So. I made this for AzaleaLexis on her birthday. I was inspired by her lovely custom-title and avvie. I hope I did it justice. <3

It's so pretty. :3 I'm so glad you linked to the background image; I'm totally going to keep that for later use in other projects because it's awegreat and so serene.

I really have only one major critique that'd possibly make this better. So. Look at the image; scan your eyes left to right, and see if you can see what's bugging me about the girl. Does it come through? Her being, her--while translucent--lines are harsh and defined a bit too much against the soft, white/black/blue/gray background. It's the addition of red tones that does her in. If you have her layer saved somewhere, try toning down the red, turning the spectrum a bit more to the blue/gray side--but not enough to where she has no contrast...just enough to where it isn't so much of a jagged edge, I suppose.

Anyway, I'm totally jealous of Lava! This is awesome, and I know she'll love it.

Wowiie! It's so angelic and serene.

First and foremost, I am awed for your technique of combining images because it looked as if the three images were originally one. Secondly, I was truly amazed because you combined those three images brilliantly that the togetherness see mutual.

Plus, I think it's a great idea to give someone a gift that you worked hard on on their birthday.
