Anime-Naruto and Vampire Knight inspired :)

For the last 2 months or so, I've had this sudden obsession with anime for really no reason whatsoever. I drew some sketches and I just wanted to share them. Comments and critiques welcomed!

S/N: I am almost at the end of Naruto Shippuden and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I was all teary and red-eyed when I learned who Itachi really was! If you haven't watched Naruto before, its a must see. I may be childish at first, but as it progresses, you'll discover an intricately weaved storyline that can make you laugh and cry in the same episode. Literally.

This is a copy of a picture of Rima Touya from Vampire Knight. As you can see, I drew it a while back, but I thought, why not throw this one in too.

this one was just a made up character. It was inspired by Naruto though. You can't see it because it's too dark, but its suppose to be a Konoha headband. :) I'm in love with that show right now.

Hey there, starrgazer! I'm not really familiar with Vampire Knight or Naruto, but I like anime in general. I've tried drawing it one or twice, and I know it's not always easy to make it look good.
That said, I really like these. The soft, coarse texture of the paper/pencil (?) gives them a nice look.


- Rima Touya -

Eyes: The lighting and depth are great. They seem to be even and angled correctly (that seems to be the hardest part of drawing eyes). However, her left eye (the one on the right side of the drawing) looks a little off. There's a very thick, dark line on the far side, which makes it stand out rather than fade away.

Chin: It seems a little too thin, especially on her left side. It should curve out a little more, give it a plumper look (then again, I have never seen the character, so I may be wrong on this one).

Jacket: This is nice; subtle, but just enough to add some detail.

Overall: It's a nice sketch, but there isn't much to look at. It sort of looks like a rough draft, you know? Some color or added detail would do wonders for it.



- Girl -

I love this one. The eyes are fantastic; I keep scrolling up to look at them. Her face is extremely expressive. The shading and colors are beautiful.

My only nitpick is the shoulders. They look a little too bony for her overall build. Also, her right arm is a little weirdly-shaped. Other than that, it's an excellent drawing.

Keep up the good work!

These are very well drawn peices of art. The only flaw I can point out is that it is a little dark. When it is dark like that, it makes it sorta hard to point out the detail, which kind of takes away the effect o the drawing. Overall, I think they are realy nice anime character drawings.
