Microsoft Paint Test (Orange Ball)

Although I have the free version of Graphicsgale after GIMP failed me, I am still interested in MS Paint and am still seeing what it can do. The more I use it, the more impressed I become. It can do more than I thought, that simple little Accessory...

This was a test I did after looking at a few tutorials on MS Paint shading. It's a start, and I intend to keep practicing.

I didn't know that MS Paint was that versatile and that powerful. But then again, it's the painter that has done such a great job. This is great stuff. I'm getting interested in all this GIMP and Graphicscape thing-a-ma-jiggies. I'm eating an orange right now as I'm typing this, so this ball looks like quite a sight to behold. Especially love the shading!

It looks great, and I think if you kept working on that program you could make some really awesome stuff, and so you should post it if you do.

This does get me interested in some of these programs; they look really cool and I should try them out someday. I'm not exactly sure how the painting in MS works, but if I'm right, the layers of different colors are done perfectly and give a really nice effect, even though it's just a simple orange test ball. You seem to be getting the hang of this program! One thing is that the ration of actually orange space to yellow space is that there is definitely more yellow, and so the ball looks more like a yellow ball with deep shadows rather than an actual orange ball.

Otherwise, I want to see what you can do with MS Paint, so keep posting!
