Freely Falling Object
Falling straight into my head
Means I've spent too much time with physics
And it's time to go to bed.

Dedicated to my sister. :)

Nice and short by The Almighty Swine. :) Why did you choose Physics? Goes to show you really have spent more than enough time with Physics.

Um... Nice.

I think you have too many sylables in the second to last line, though.

But I'm with you on the too much physics thing. It is 5:50 AM here and I'm cramming, lol.

Yeah, you're right about the second to last line. It just... came out that way, if that makes sense.

And it was physics because my sister was freaking out about the physics formulas that she would have used for her final. She began saying, "Freely falling object..."

Then Dad interrupted with, "It's time to go to bed!"

So yeah. I love randomly inspired poetry! :)

Hah, great rhythm.

Now if only I could convince you to write more meaningful poetry, we'd be on to something ...

*closes ears* Nyah, nyah, not listening!

Nah, just kidding. I like... random poetry. I've always been a fan of Shel Silverstein, Jack Prelutsky, and more, and I love the creativeness of children's songs. Have you ever heard Greenday play something as original as "Bananaphone?" I think not! And I have written serious poetry. Bluebird's an example. But I like prose as a medium for seriousness better, just because I have a greater handle on it better. :)

I think we should have a pact - you should write more meaningful poetry, I should write more prose.

Lol, this was good! At first I thought it would be a bit more serious, but I was smiling by the end :D

Oh no, I’m sorry, you’re under the impression that here on YWS we *help* writers instead of just feeding their gremlin tendencies.
