This is the first drawing I've done (and liked) in about 2-3 years. The coloring job isn't supposed some grand adventure. The point of it is to just so the confined space of black and white where the first girl is trapped, and how beautiful freedom is, even if it's not perfect. In comparison to no color, the scribbles are still more desired.
Climb inside my belly button beanbag plastic world!
I like it. The way you showed the contrast between plain black and white and color is very good. I especially like how you drew the second girl, her hair is awesome. I cant do that with color pencil.
Hello there , At first glance of this drawing you can clearly see why it's called stuck. Obviously the girl in the black and white room is trapped and it looking out to the girl in the colourful world. She is jealous of the brighter world and the girl in it and wants to be like her.
I love the tonal range in this drawing ... And the contrast between the two words really gives a spooky , mystical kind of effect.
This is a great piece! I love the contrast between the two, and this might just be me, but it reminds me of the Greek Tale of Persephone. But a modernized version. Such as, the daughter is stuck in this bleak world (hell) while the mother in the real and beautiful world.
