To become one of fate,
for sands of time one must wait,
No more no less a year one day,
from that time once in may.

Ride not upon the wiches broom,
least ye be overwhelmed to soon,
Call upon the goddess might,
for this one of holy night.

Call upon the god's raidiant light,
to protect us from all plight,
call upon the spirits dead,
to join this night and be fed.

Samhain, hallowed, summers end,
bring about the worlds end,
but not the end some would seek,
instead bring about years next week.

I love the fact that you took time to write a poem about today. So festive. Excellent way to be smashing.
Just a simple poem and factual. Great use of the history;
Samhain, hallowed, summers end,
bring about the worlds end,
but not the end some would seek,
instead bring about years next week.

Hi! We're getting right to the review. I enjoyed this poem. I'm not a poem person, I'm not the best example for a poet. But, I decided, why not? It is Halloween. So here I am now, reviewing. I liked this, it was... interesting in a very good way. It brought some kind of suspense for this candy night. Suspense you would only expect in someone's imagination. I like the way you used "ye". I also enjoy the fact you used some history as well. Great job.

Keep Writing!
