I know not the reason for which i have been cursed,
I only know the pain it yeilds.
I do not bleed. Though i prefer it, for
I suffer far greater than any injury of the flesh.
I wander a road only traveled by those of damnation, i walk
on the ice of a cold memory.

In my dreams i pray to dream of sleep
because sleeping wakes my mind. A regretful mind indeed.
Damn the dreams I dream! When i wake the mistaken
heart in my breast is weak from cries i cried.
What have i done to cause a pain such as this,
for it blisters my very soul.

The sweat on my brow thickens.
I reach to cover that no longer cover the life it used to serve.
The memories resurface.
She used to lie where the covers no longer cover the life
we used to share. Her hair soft as silk,
it used to cast a glow when the sun shone through our drapes.

I bury my face in the place that she used to keep warm,
a chill shocks my cheek.
A tear warms the chill and even still
the fool i am beckons for love.

The road i once traveled is a grey mist of sorrow.
Im at a dead end. I cant go on,
Nor can i return from the path i came. I stop to remind myself
why i live such lifeless life. I began to recollect the day of that
which love ended my life as a man.
The very same day that my life as a fool began.

She laughed and seemed to love as i did, again the sun gave
her hair a touch angels gold. Such a perfect time to
tell the lies she told. I gave her a gift only a foolish man would,
The bitter heart in her breast would only come to reject it.
You see i gave her my heart and the love it held,

I watched as she laughed and walked away.
She procceded the road i thought
we would walk together.
The road i walk now is my curse and indeed,i shall roam forever.

My heart damns me a fool and my mind abandons
my will. And though I am alone,
in my hand i hold, the heart of a foolish fool.

Hmmm i hate this =( i feel like its way to sad and too confusing for people to understand. Also its quite long and kinda jumps around i think. Im a better critic than writer i think. Plus drama isnt really my forte. I should start writing a book probably, something with alot of action. Got a lot of work to do but i need reviews people! dont hesitate im used to criticism and being corrected. let me know how i did please. Tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, would anyone care to help me create some characters for an upcoming book im trying not to use all the ones i have made up already because they dont fit the story line. Anyway thanks to all that read and review my work i appreciate it bunches!!!

Hey -I like it!
It's deinitely not too depressing - I think that's good, because the feeling behind it is nice and strong, it feels like it's always there.
I like the structure, and the feel of the whole poem.

I really liked that bit! The opening made me wonder slightly what the person had actually done.
A great poem, well done! :D

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia. ~Charles Schulz

I was flummoxed by fractious Franny's decision to abrogate analgesics for the moribund victims of the recent conflagration. Of course, to display histrionics was discretionary, but I did so anyways, implicating a friend in my drama to make the effect cumulative. I think a misanthrope would have a prosaic appellation, perhaps one related to autonomy and the rejection of anthropocentrism. I think they wouldn't think much of the prominence of watching the coagulation of tea to prognosticate future malevolent events, not even if those events were related to jurisprudence.
