Well here is Len in chibi form. I had meant for this to be a messy doodle, but I um, got a little too into it?
But I'm glad I did. He looks so adorable this way I drew this last night ( I am starting to think I draw better at night...) and used, yes, you guessed it: my trusty mechanical pencil.
I don't care what any art professional says anymore, mechanical pencils are my best friend and they CAN be used for good drawing and shading :X My dragon portraits don't lie. So that's what I'll be using the most from now on.

Hey there =] I totally agree, this is adorable! And I also agree that mechanical pencils aren't as bad as people make them out to be. My art teacher hates when I use them, but they're easy to get the same shade with repeatedly, with no lines running through, its smooth. But yeah, I enjoyed this picture. Nice work =]

Gasp! That is sooo cute! Chibi is always meant to be cute and adorable You worked really good with the mechanical pencil! I love the eyes! How he's winking! That is just cute! The eyes make me want to look them over again and again! Awesome job and keep it up!

The eyes are soooo cute! You're good with greyscale drawings. I love the little boy. you've got real talent... I don't know how many people must've said that to you. I don't have much to say here. Just that the open eye seems to be a bit bigger than the smaller one. But I don't think that's a flaw. Anyway, you can try colouring it in. It will look even more adorable. AND yes, I do want to hug him.

Okay now on with the review which probably won't be a review because, well. This is just to cute to criticize but I shall try.

Of course you used the mechanical pencil shiney! I personally find this unusual because I suck at using a mechanical pencil to do even the simplest things, even writing is challenging. But this technique obviously works for you and your drawings are every good so I won't even try and convince you to use sketch pencils. Your artistic talent is to good for me to try and tell you otherwise.

the nest thing I think you should do is color him in. It would honestly transform the picture and no doubt leave us all speechless. I just think this sort of thing has to be colored and it would look even cuter and brighter if it was completed with some color. You could even try experimenting with water pencils or dye! Anyway I really think color would look good on this.

My favorite part of this drawing would have to be all of the facial features especially the eyes. I also liked the hair a lot. Overall this was a really neat drawing and your anime/manga skills are top notch. I hope to see your art around soon!
