Hi readers! I hope you enjoy the second part to the series but alot of you have asked more about the characters so here it is.
Flicker: Age 12
shadow: age 16
ozzy: age 15
honey: age 6
and macy: age 16
Also they came from a desert in Arizona and they're the only one of there kind (that they know of
)Hope this clears somethings up now lets get on with the story.
"Gah!" Ozzy dove to the side as a jackall lunged for his throat. Honey swooped down and gave him a hard kick to the head and I heard a loud snap. The jackal hit the tiled floor of the mall hard and all of us sighed with relief. That's when it hit me. We were in a mall.I quickly snatched up Honey and beckoned the rest of the team and we split. Once we were outside Flicker darted up to the sky searching for anymore jackal's awaiting our arrival. I was now tripping over my feet as we hurried toward our hummer. Shadow ripped open the doors and shoved Ozzy, Honey and when Flicker landed he practically threw him in there. I jumped into the passengers side and Shadow peeled away out of the parking lot. As we flew down the highway I looked at everyone.
"Everyone okay?" I asked as I looked in the back seat. They all nodded except for Honey who was just staring out the window.
"Honey? You okay?"
"Yeah..I dropped my bear though." She sighed. And then looked pitifully up at me, her big brown eyes sparkling. I frowned.
"Well we'll get you another, even though you stole it." I smirked. Her eyes lit up and she nodded happily. We were now heading back to our somewhat mansion in the face of the mountain. Shadow looked over at me darkly.
"Well, we now know that those damn pests could be anywhere ." He growled. I nodded quietly drifting off into Macy land. When we got to our drive way a bunny leaped out of the way of the giant wheel. I stepped out and opened the right back door releasing Ozzy and Honey who scrambled up to the door. I slid and landed on my butt and muttered some words I wouldn't like to repeat on here. I helped myself up and saw Shadow biting his lip, holding back a laugh. I glared at him.
"Like you've never done that!" I spat
"Not that I remember."
"Whatever. You probably have." I hissed and stormed off to the house. I smacked open the door to reveal Ozzy messing with Honey.
"YO! Ozzy stop that." I scolded. He pouted and Honey stopped looking like a mindless zombie. I let the corner of my mouth curl when Honey punched Ozzy in the jaw while he was looking over at me. He swung his head around holding his jaw and I knew this would not be pretty.
"Go outside you two." I muttered and trudged upstairs. I slammed my door open and jumped down onto my bed. Shadow quickly appeared and I scowled at him.
"Need Macy time..." I trailed off smacking my head against my pillow.
"Well what about Macy Shadow time?" He smirked and laid down next to me. I grumbled and moved over a bit. And then something flew through the window placing glass all over my bed and floor. I shot up and stretched my arm out and grabbed the little rock. It had a piece of paper attatched to it. Not just a piece of paper ,oh no, a note
