'Ello, m'dears...

Hey there!

So, er... So. Hi. My name's Chelsea, glad to meet y'all - but you can call me Chelse if you want. That's basically my name these days. xD Let's see, that got started about two years ago when I discovered this wonderful thing called the Internet...

But I'm getting sidetracked. Hi. I'm Chelse, nice ta meetcha, fifteen years old, but for some reason people think I'm older. I'm a prolific poet with some longer story interests on the side - my shortest short story was ten pages long. Eek. I also tend to obsessively edit things when I'm done with them, and the most I've managed to write for one thing was 35 thousand words for NaNoWriMo last year. Didn't quite finish.

I figured I would pop in here and say hi, since I'm still getting used to this place - glad to find something like this exists after all!

Call me AM, I'm fifteen and a frustrated writer. Haha. Yea, frustrated. That's the main reason why I landed here, in YWS.

And OM! You're a poet, I personally like poems but I'm not good at them, I haven't even tried writing one. Well, I tried, only once and I hope to do it again.

It's probably that lovely vocabulary you've got there which makes people think you're older Very nice. Anyway, welcome to the site. It's lovely to invite another poet to our community and I hope you're settling in nicely.

If you're looking for reviews or someone to show you around, we have this system called the 'Buddy System', where new members choose an older member to show them around the site and answer any questions they have. The older member also reviews some of their work which is always nice and it's just a good place to find answers and friendly faces. We realise that YWS can be a bit big and daunting at first and try to make everyone feel at home
