Writing has always been a secret passion of mine. That’s a definite truth. I knew I was never alone in the hobby, but I’ve never particularly craved for anyone else to read my work. I’ve seen and heard about this place before, through others, but I’ve never had the motivation to register. Whereas now, something has obviously changed in my mind and I am here; for reasons unknown to even myself. Perhaps to reignite that now dimming flame of the love of writing in my mind, or perhaps to give myself something to do on a wet and miserable Saturday afternoon such as the one I am currently experiencing.
I am unaware of my favourite genre of writing as I have yet to experience them all fully, so I’m open to any and all stories that people may have to tell. I appreciate constructive criticism as well, and will never take offense to any ‘advice’ which may allow me to one day improve. I dislike it when people make mountains out of molehills and tear other’s stories apart, only for the own personal satisfaction they get from doing so. I attempt to ignore all such persons, and take pity on their victims and themselves. I hope to enjoy my time here amidst people with similar interests to mine, and wish well on anyone who truthfully wants to bring entertainment to others through writing.
As for my own works, I am not going to post anything I have written prior to my registration. I will only post new works; one of which I have written in the hour I’ve been online. I have named it ‘Xenomorph’, and encourage anyone to read and give feedback on it. I’d really appreciate that. Thanks.
