Random drawings

Here are random anime drawings. I've used Faber-Castell colour pencils here.


I think I should've drawn the rest of the head here...


I need ideas for a good background for this one...

Wow, you definitely have talent!!! I wish I had the skills you do. The first picture is really excellent. The shading for the skin color is magnificent!!! If I was to critique it at all I would say that the braid thing (if that's what it is) should be slightly thicker so it would be more proportional to the head size.

The second picture is my favorite of the two. The character is so cute cute. I love the contrast between the cute (and I think bubbly) girl and the dark scary shadow. As for a background idea, maybe an assortment of different color stars. On the side closer to the girl the colors can be bright and fun but as the background gets closer to the shadow the colors fade into dark and glum hues of red and purple.

Now about you're amazing drawings:

The First Anime Drawing:
It looks very evil and I must say you've done a great job with color pencils! But the hair looks like it's actually shown that the light and dark pink. I mean it's kind of the shade right? So you must work on how to color it without getting much noticed by giving some magic! ^^ Even the eyes. They need a little more work. You know, they don't look natural. The eyes have to be how it's drawn. I love the blood coming out of the mouth... It's so bloody evil :O I like how you've colored the skin. =) Honestly you've done great work here! XD

The Second Anime Drawing:
I like it how you managed to draw this girl but I still don't see what the black line shading kind of thing is for. it's looks very weird and I prefer you didn't put in that up. As as for the hand which is half-covered. Is it blood there? It looks very ... Not soothing maybe? Doesn't match. It could have been a happy girl, you know =) I love how you did her dress. Very original Expressions and everything else. EXCELLENT but I thought this was a little flat.

You only need to work on the coloring a bit.

I like both these pics! You're very good with expression, both of this people look like characters, not just drawings. I really like the highlighted hair on the first pic, it's very bold. Also, the shading on the skin looks great. It's something I struggle with because I can never understand all the dips and curves in the skin. But yours looks very smooth

I wonder about the braid on her neck though. It's kinda hard to tell what it is, and if I wasn't familiar with anime I wouldn't have any idea what it was xP
The eyes are a bit lifeless (I know that sounds like a harsh comment but really it's not that bad xP) I would suggest adding a white highlight somewhere in there to help liven them up. Also, it looks like the left pupil is off center.

Maybe a small highlight on the bottom lip too? Just an idea.

Second picture is cute ^_^ Really cute! I love her clothes and her hairstyle. Again, your coloring is very smooth and vibrant. But my favorite thing, again, is her expression! And the little blush you colored on her.

To be honest, I don't know what the stick thing is that she's holding, and I don't quite understand the background, but it wasn't distracting to me. I do think the black helps the colors on the girl stand out, though.

If I would add something to this, I'd put a highlight in her hair, like you did in the first pic I'd also add more details to her clothes! I keep picturing a pattern on her pink dress, and maybe a few cute patches on her jeans. It would help add more character, I think

As for background ideas, maybe a starry night? I liked the black background.
