I also had a bunch of fairy tale books that I read obsessively. Probably the reason why I write fantasy today.

My favourite children's book will always be "The Perfect Hamburger" by A. M Smith. Other than that, I'd have to say Roald Dahl has pretty much raised me. Charlie and the Chocolate factory, the BFG, Witches, Matilda, Danny Champion of the World, etc. So many fond memories...

Ah! I forgot all about "Verdi!" I loved that book.

I loved the Velveteen Rabbit or How Toys Become Real by Margery Williams. In fact, I still love it! Dr. Seuss was also marvelous :)
