Doodles on GIMP that I did in less than 30min each. I tend to use a lot of blues and reds and greens in my pics, so I wanted to try something different. I'm not particularily fond of yellow, it's just way too.... bright? x) But I found out that I really love a more sunshine shade of yellow.

Hey there, Blacksheep! It's nice to see more of your work. These are both pretty good, though there's a little bit of room for improvement on both - but mainly the second one.

First Picture: I like this one best of the two - especially the color you used on his eyes. The main thing I'd correct is HIS right cheek (our left). The upper half of it blends in with his hair too much; perhaps use a slightly darker or thicker line? The second thing is HIS right (our left, again) shoulder. It seems to fall downward suddenly from his collarbone, which is really weird. I see how you tried to correct this with the light fill-in lines you added, but you should darken them so they look like they're actually part of the shoulder, and not just random yellow smudging.

Second Picture: I think this one needs more work. The biggest issue with her is that her face seems really flat and due to the shading, looks like it is caving inwards a bit more than it should at HER right cheek, directly under the eye. You should put more lines in her face, especially outward lines that give her a less 2D look. Now, I'm not sure if these are her eyebrows, but you seem to have two horizontal lines on her forehead, in her bangs. If these are her eyebrows, they are way too high up. If she were to touch the underside of her eyebrow with her fingernail, she should probably have her finger on the upper eyelid and also feel her eyelashes with her finger, if her eyes are open. Her neck is also abnormally long - your neck is typically around the length, or shorter than, the length of your hand. Her's looks much too big. Finally, a quick clothing nitpic. On HER left side of her collar of the hood/shirt, I think the white fold/collar should be a bit bigger and go farther down to match the otherside.

Overall, you are a great artist, but your anatomy could use some work. Keep it up, and let me know if you have any questions, as always. Good luck!

Hi there!

Wow, these are great! I love both of them. The colors actually work out quite well, giving off a happy vibe (does that even make sense?).

The first drawing is really nice. The eyes of the boy gives me the impression that he's depressed, but the bright yellow color makes me believe he's happy or something exciting is happening. I don't know if you meant it to be blurry, but that simply adds another mystery to it. To me it looks as if this boy is simply fading away.

The second drawing is really amazing. The face is perfect and I absolutly love the expression. The hair was done quite well too. I can tell there's a breeze blowing by at the time. I like how you added darker colors around her face and the outline of her shirt. The color gives it some depth.

Great job! Keep drawing! :)

Hey there!

Both your drawings are really good! I don't really like using the color yellow either, because when I use pencil it totally smudges and ruins the color. :( Here are my thoughts on each drawing:

First Drawing: I love the shades of yellow you used for this drawing! The eyes are beautiful. I love how you drew his hair, there are a few strands sticking out, totally realistic. The emotion on his face is so... sad! Perfect emotion points! :)

Second Drawing: I really like this one! I think this is the best one. I love the effects you put with her hair! It is honestly beautiful! The eyes are so black that it adds emotion to her eyes, like a serious emotion while her face puts on a sort of sad emotion. I really like the shirt. The little flowers are perfect details! Beautiful job!

I love your drawings! I am not much of a drawer, but I do have a few ideas with drawing. I don't really have any nit-picks for you, but I don't really think you would need it! Both your drawings are just beautiful. Amazing job and keep it up!

Hi again,
The first drawing isn't really clear but I think the person looks sad in it. Yellow looks a lot better in the second one. It's as if the only thing missing is a halo over her head. She looks like an angel. The clothes, the flower patterns on the clothes, and the yellow color, it all fits in perfectly with her hair. The thing I liked most about both the drawings were the eyes.
Both eyes look beautiful.
I've become a fan of yours :)
