Well, it sounds like you're in the right place. Everyone here is extremely helpful and encouraging. You need 100 points to post a work, and you can get those points by reviewing. The more reviews you do, the more people will be willing to review yours.

I'm absolutely terrible at writing poetry and am much a prose person. I've started countless 'novels' and stories but then get bored and leave them. Most of them are fantasy/adventure and I've tried my hand at a bit of a murder mystery because I adore reading Agatha Christie but they're very tricky.

I'm having a private fangirl squee right now because of your name, lol. Did you ever watch The Prisoner? It's this really cool and weird TV show about this agent who wakes up in this village where everyone has a number instead of a name. You should totally watch it.

Anyway.

Hello and welcome to YWS! I hope to see some of your stuff soon. I usually write fantasy, but I've been having a Castle marathon and that's making me want to write a mystery or something. I always gets bored with mystery novels though and just want them hurry up and find out who dunnit already, but I like detective TV.

Can you tell I watch too much TV? I shouldn't belong on a literary site, I really shouldn't. >_<

I know just what if feels like to be new, since I just grew out of being a newbie not to long ago.
I bet as most have already said, this is a great place to post writing and get it reviewed. Also, the reviewers are never harsh when reviewing your posts.
What's most amazing is how friendly everyone is. In the first couple of days you will make so many friends I swear it's like being in friend heaven.
Oh, and questions. If you have any, you can pm any of the mods or Addies and they'll answer. Or you could pm me, and I'd do a stuttering attempt to answer said question. So let's just hope that you don't ask me anything.
