Hi, I'm Adara I love to write and a few friends suggested this website. So I'm giving it a try. Ever since I was in 2nd grade I wrote stories and read them to class. My classmates loved my stories. Now for some reason I stopped they wondered why I don't even know why. So I'm trying to bring back my writing skills. I read in the forums about Storybooks. Well what actually is that. Do I just write small stories? Kinda confused about that. Thanks.

Welcome to YWS! I hope that you'll like it here and have a really good time. I know that I do!

I’m sure that your writing skills aren’t that rusty and can’t wait to start reading all your work. People here are really nice and if you have questions someone is bound to know the answer to whatever it is you need.

If you want a friend I am all for it.

Good Luck and have fun here!

When people ask me, why are you so weird, I never know what to say. Then I think, why should I be like this when I can be like ttthhhiiiisss?

Hi Adara!

Welcome to YWS! Hope you like it here. :)

As for the Storybooks, well they're more of a roleplaying thing. Where someone comes up with a plot and a whole lot of people create characters and continue the story on. At least that's what I think they are. I'm not too sure myself. One thing I do know is that they're not for short stories or anything of that kind.

You can post your short stories and other various things in the tabs along the top that says 'Submit'. Then pick which category whatever you're about to submit it in and voila! Your short story/poem/lyric/etc. is now posted up.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll navigate your way around pretty easily once you've had more of a look. Once again, welcome to YWS. Hope to see you around. :)

:smt039 Hello, again! :elephant:
MiRaCLeS is right about the storybooks. It's like that game people play in the car on road trips where they make a story by letting each person make up the next sentence. They are a great way to experiment with different characters and writing styles.
I hope you enjoy the site! I'll see you around. :D

'Let's eat Grandma!' or, 'Let's eat, Grandma!' Punctuation saves lives.

Reviews? You know you want one. :)
