I'm not a really a professional writer but I do love to write my thoughts and make some stories as well. I also enjoy reading so much. Hey Pyro, Welcome to the wonderful universe that is YWS. Don't worry you will get use to everything very quickly. All you have to do is read and review so you can post and get reviews yourself. If you feel like something fun there are interesting forums, story-booking (kind of like RPG's ) and chat. If you have any questions please drop me a line. Everybody in YWS is friendly and helpful! I'm sure you'll love it here. Yws is a great way to express yourself and get to know people who share the same interests as you. It should also help you improve and find out what kind of writing you like best.
It's easy to get lost so if you ever need any help around the site or you get stuck with anything just click on my name and drop a note on my wall. We're all real friendly and anyone should be able to give you a hand if need be. I'm sure you'll be fine though If anyone isn't friendly, then you should tell someone in either green or red, i.e there name is red or green instead of blue, but I doubt that will be the case. We're crazy but sure, we're friendly.
You can post more then stories here too. We accept photos, art, scripts, plays, reviews on movies or books and such, lyrics, music; pretty much anything; we'll take it.
You can also review other people's work for points, which is like YWS money. You need points to post you're own work and it costs a minimum of 100 points per work you post. Every review is worth 100 points as long as its over 250 words.

If, when you mean to type yes you type yws, you know you belong.
