Hiya all!

I suck at these things but let's give this a try. Alright, first off. I'm Wolfdra, but I can go by whatever name you want. Wolf, Wolfy, Dra, Wolfdra are only a few I've been given over the years. Also, I am a girl [17, 18 in the fall]. Currently, I'm co-writing a three part novel with a friend of mine and writing another on my own [not sure how long it will be yet]. I'm still in highschool, jobless at the moment, and pretty boring in that aspect. If you hadn't noticed from my username, I love wolves. I have two dogs of my own and they are my world.

I love playing video games in my spare time, and I love listening to music which can vary drastically. To give you a taste of bands I like, there's Sonata Arctica, The Decemerists, Nightwish, Nonpoint, and UNKLE to name a few of the weirder ones. Of main stream stuff, there is Lady GaGa, Ke$ha, Maroon 5, OneRepublic, and Eminem [just his newer stuff]. I usually don't like rap, and there are alot of songs on the radio that I don't like.

I got intereted in writing when I was about 13, from a friend who I've had a falling out with. However, I haven't lost my passion for it, but I've had little time to do so. I haven't done alot of writing accomplishments, but I do have the main plot of my own book down. As I have said, though I'm cowriting a another novel with a friend I've own for four years, and we're on book three of that.

Well, since I'm really running out of things to put here, I'll leave it to all of you to ask any questions about me that you want. XD I came here for some advice and to see other's works, so I think this'll be a good place for that. Happy 4th, all!

But anyhoo, so I was looking at some of the things you were saying about yourself, - music mostly - and I just want to say that UNKLE rocks. I haven't listened to much of them but they have such a clean sound. It's so refreshing when I meet people who aren't so mainstream into music! Personally I like a lot of different bands. Mostly alternative stuff, if I had to pick a genre.

Well, anyway, welcome again! Hope you find your stay here at YWS to be pretty cool and filled with lots of great writing and new friendships. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask by posting a comment on my wall or sending a PM(private message) my way.

[P.S. I also love that you guys are so on top of good grammer. I've been OCD about being a good speller since about 6th grade and it's sad to see when people just don't care about it.]

Hi, Wolfdra! Wonderful to see you've joined YWS and are loving the place.

I think it's pretty cool you're co-writing a novel with your friend! I have a hard time with co-writes for some reason, so I admire any people who do them. Juggling that with your own novel takes some serious skill, so go you!

I'm pleased to see you're enjoying the site so far. I was a bit confused when I first joined, so if you have any and all questions, don't hesitate to ask me (or anyone else, really)! There are all sorts of things to check out, and after being here for as long as I have, I definitely found an improvement in my own writing abilities.

I'm a gamer myself! I don't play as much as I'd like to, but once in a while, I pick something up. There's a gamer club or two you should check out in joining. Just browse the clubs, to which you'll find on the navigation bar at the top. There are a lot of gamers here!

Thanks! We've been working on it for a while now and we haven't finished it quite yet. It's tough doing it when I also have another novel going, however that's also because I'm a terrible procrastinator.

I've had more of a chance of looking around and exploring some of it to kinda see what goes on here, and I think i've getting the hang of things. XP I haven't quite looked into the works section, so I'm still a little hazy on what would exactly go where. I'm sure if I looked at it more I would get the hang of it.

I'll look into those! I saw a few of the clubs and it just amazed me how many there were. I'm also happy to see how friendly everyone is here. I've been on several forums before this, and none have ever been this welcoming.
