Hey my name is Kels! I'm so excited to be a part of this website! I hope to be a writer when I grow up so I'm looking for some advice and suggestions on how to imporve my work. I like short stories and poems but my ultimate goal is to begin - and hopefully finish - a novel of my own. I can't wait to get started!

Quick question for ya. Why be a writer when you grow up when you can be one right now, this very day? (Yeah, yeah, I know what you meant, that you want to make a career out of it, but still... being a writer begins when you say it does, when you make that commitment.)

Another question! What genres do you write? What inspires you? Favorite time of the day to write?

You are very right Rach! I am officially a writer!
As of now I write in all genres. I'm exploring my writing skills at the moment so we'll see where that takes me.
I am inspired by everything. There is always differnt and interesting ways to look at things; that is why I love writing.
I deffinetly love to write in the morning. I always have my best ideas when I wake up.

Hello there! I signed up for this account years ago but am only now starting to use it, so I don't know whether I should be welcoming you or you should be welcoming me (*eyes more reviews and posts than me*)! Well, anyway, I'm also a would-be novelist... I want to write a novel some day but I've never finished one. I've tried National Novel Writing Month four times and haven't won yet, though I've gotten to 40,000 words before. I hope you are inspired by YWS.
