Shattering soul
splintering into tiny pieces
I can't put it back together
it's been mended too many times
now I'm just a shell
wandering through this world
feeling numb
no purpose at all
just waiting for the end
waiting
waiting to die

Ok, first, I'm not too sure about the punctuation, or capitalization, or anything like that! It was just one huge thing...without a period. But, I think sometimes poems don't necessarily have to have punctuation.
What I might suggest is to try writing it once with punctuation, read it...and see which one you like better. :)

The emotion was fabulous. It was extremely sad. I definitely used to think about this all the time.
What's my purpose on earth?
What am I doing here?
Why am I even HERE?
And, that's where my religion kicked in. Every person is different though, and we have to find our purpose at different points in our lives. I'm sure you will find your purpose very shortly.

One last thing. I think the poem was a good length. I actually thought it wasn't way too short. You basically just got your message out to the reader, and that's all you had to really do. We can apply our own interpretation of how each one of our souls can be breaking.
But, if you want to get it out to the world about why you feel this way, you could also possibly write another poem, explaining why you don't think you have a purpose anymore, just to write more in depth.

Thanks for this great work
Keep it up!
Don't walk in front of me: I may not follow
Don't walk behind me: I may not lead
Just walk beside me and hold my hand

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I dont understand, shells are used for protection, and if your soul shattered that many times, then it wouldn't have protection. That's the only part I found to be wrong. Over all, it was a great poem, the only other thing would be, if you have so much passion and feelings, and emotion on this subject why wouldn't you write a longer poem about your sad soul. Sorry about your soul by the way. :) You're talented and special, and whoever hurt you doesn't know what they're missing. Don't let people hurt you, you're far to strong for that. :D
