I was just writing random things going through my head on Sunday. These are some of them. From my POV.
1.
There's pounding in my head. It won't go away. It's just a pulse against my forehead, under my hair, and behind my face.
It hurts, but I usually ignore it.
If I don't think about it, it's not there.
Yeah right.
Like that ever actually works.
Seriously, life is cruel like that.
So cruel, in fact, that maybe it'll turn out the reason for all my head aches is a brain tumor or something else that will indefinitely be the cause of Andi ---'s tragic and early demise.
I can see it now -"Infamous teenage writing progidy dies of unknwn brain disease."
How becoming.
Really makes me want to grab a tissue and cry my heart out, y'know?
2.
Sitting in this church, I feel out of place. I'm not a believer; I have no right to be here.
Get a grip, I think to myself, You're here to listen to a bunch of people squeak away on their violins and violas. It's just a stupid recital.
it just seems a bit odd thaat the current performers are playing some sort of jig under a window with a majestic cross hanging overhead. The title of the piece is 'Devil's' -something, anyway.
There's something ironic about it.
The cross is made with a base of some sort of black wood. Over top, there's a smaller late of gold with each end about two feet shorter than the wooden cross. lastly, around the center, there's a golden ring.
It looks like a halo to me.
A big giant halo.
The cross is beautiful, really, but all I find myself wondering is how big your head would have to be if you wanted to wear that halo.
Must be a pretty goddamn arrogant angel.
Um, no pun intended.
3.
Look at the world around you.
Growing, moving -never still, not for a moment.
The trees outside sway in the breeze. Raindrops splattered on the window collect and roll down the glass, picking up speed as they go.
It's disgusting; the Earth does nothing but grow.
Here I am, sitting in class, not listening as the teacher in the front of the room tries to fill my head with knowledge and the Earth is just growing.
It's like one, big, smooth, involuntary muscle.
Huh.
Does that make the Earth a heart, metaphorically speaking?
I shouldn't think too much about these things. It makes me weird.
Weird-er.
4.
The death sentence for a serial killer:
[The PEOPLE say:]
Killing is very wrong. You've killed a lot of people, so now we should kill you.
Oh, don't worry.
It's all in the name of justice.
It's all peachy fine.
It's all fair.

Yeah, so you just got a look at what goes on inside TSM's head. Feel honored and crap.
