Okay... so I'm... not... technically new... here... at YWS... BUT!! I hadn't actually known about this whole "Welcome Mat" thing until... well... yesterday ^___^" soooo I'm just gonna pretend I'm knew for a few seconds! (... is that allowed? O.e)

So, as you may or may not (?) already know, my name is Micki! (... which you SHOULD know, because... well... that's my username as well!) but anywhoo, I'm fourteen and I came here from FanFiction almost exactly two months ago. The smexy, Addylicious, Adoxagraphy.Angelus, brought me to this site and I absolutely adore her for it! I love everyone I've met so far and they've all been really kind and welcoming. I feel like I fit in here and I like it better than FF (even though I was so confused it gave me whiplash in the beginning ;P) and I think I've even learned a thing or two from everyones awesome reviews!

I love writing mostly novels, though I'm not exactly the best at finishing things (*cough* never finished a novel in my life *cough*) but I also like posting my artwork on here and reading peoples opinions on them! I also dabble in poetry a little so, if you could, I would really appreciate if you would check out my stuffies! xP I'm also hopelessly addicted to anime and manga (I just happen to be reading four manga, and watching... 1... 2... FIVE anime at this moment in time ;P) I used to think it was stupid but then I watched one really good anime called Princess Tutu (I know, haha, funny name! lol) and... I guess... some sort of switch in my brain got flicked and now I'm... sorta... obsessed... a little....

Even though I might not be on your review team or I may not have met you before, I really like everyone on here. You guys have been really hospitable (?) and really, very nice! You're crazy and silly and just plain weird and that's awesome! And everyone is an amazing writer here! I really hope I can continue to enjoy it here and write alongside the best of you! ;P

Okay so I'm gonna stop writing now because I still am not sure if this is allowed since I'm not all shiny and new with that "new car" smell and all O.o

Hi xoxo! (I called you that cus they look like little faces you know? XO?) Anyway I really love you; you make me laugh. I wish you are on my review team just for that. I have never finished a novel either and I have said my dream was to be an author since I was about 6 so don't worry. You will get there! Just keep writing. Anyway you don't need to finish anything any time soon. Right now you just need to improve your writing. You have your whole life to finish something.

You should give me the name to those Anime books. I have always wanted to get into that, but I could never find a really good one! My favorite Anime TV show would probably Avatar: The Last Airbender. I have actually never seen the movie, but the TV show is awesome.

I'm so glad you're enjoying your time here at YWS! It really is a fantastic site. That's really neat that you're into manga and anime, I've found myself getting more and more into it and it's a problem since its so addicting! Haha.

So you write novels, huh? That's awesome. Even if you don't finish 'em, it takes some serious dedication to even work on them for a while. I'm a novelist myself, and I know how hard it can be! You should check out National Novel Writing Month when it comes around this November. It's a crazy competition, and was the first time I actually wrote (and finished) a whole novel.

We seem to be sort of similar. Not similar in the way that me and one of my friends are, like we're the same person, but similar in the way that we like the same things. Allow me to explain, because I feel as though I'm not making sense.

I am a "novelist" also but I never finish any of my work. There's the entire story in my head but I always get so distracted by other ideas or nitpicking. I can never be content with writing crap and then going back to edit when I'm done. I don't know if it's the same for you

I'm sort of dabbling in the poetry too. Not that I'm any good or anything.

We share a love for anime and manga, though most of my friends don't actually know that about me. I have a weird thing for Pokemon (though I don't consider it anime, because I've only watched it in Japanese once), Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Card Captor Sakura, and Alice Academy. Hehe. Now that that's off my chest... how about you?
