Well, let's see. This is pretty much the best writing site out there. ^-^ So I really hope you enjoy it here and have fun mingling with other writers. I think you'll find that with time you'll quickly start to grow and develop your writing skills.

If you find you have any questions or need help with anything concerning the site, feel free to ask me. I'd be glad to help you out. Although, I'm sure you'll find you'll get around just fine after awhile. When I first came here I was a little lost, but the site is a great place to explore for sure if it's your first time around. So enjoy it all. (: And let me know if you ever need anything. Easiest way would just be to post a comment on my wall. But PM(private message) works, too.

I'm pretty thankful for this forum too. Isn't it just the best thing ever? I mean, Nate's a genius. He's our site admin and creator. Alright so how brought you here? Do you like to write and read? What kind of novels do you like?

As I'm sure you've found out, meeting new people here is easy and fun. Everyone's super friendly and encouraging. This is a great place to meet online friends that last.

One of the things I had most trouble with when I joined was navigating the site, so if you're having trouble with that too, know you're not alone. It's really quite simple once you've been around for a little while. The place you'll want to look at most is the "Community" tab - most of the non-literary works forums are there. There are places for writing tips, and asking questions, announcements for the site, and many, many more. If you're interested in reading about ways to improve writing, definitely check out the KB (Knowledge Base). You'll find it under Community. =)

If you have any questions at all, or just want to talk, PM me or post on my wall. I'd love to hear from you.

Don't mind the reviews that tear your work apart piece by piece, because you'll probably get them eventually. Instead, view it as an opportunity to improve. The people who are criticizing you are doing so because they want you to improve. (And because they want to like what they're reading, but mostly they just wanna help. XD)

I'm sure you'll enjoy it here! There's all types of people on YWS, so you'll probably be able to find your niche soon enough. (One way to do that is to just start posting and reviewing stories.

Oh yeah! There's the point system. You get points for reviewing and spend points to post your own work. Right now, we're in the middle of a review war, so if you feel comfortable, feel free to participate. It's fun. :3
