Mah work

Hello there, so I haven't been active on this site for a while *looks away in shame* I know... it's been a crazy few months... But here I am
These are some of my work, I'd really love it if you could tell me what you thought and some things I could work on

This one is Alex Evans... I feel like something might be wrong with the way I've drawn his face?

Hey, Truth. These are all really beautiful. Your style is wonderful. The way you made the hands was very realistic in my opinion. My favorites would have to be the first two. The one you did of the bottom half of a girls face doesn't look so much like a girl to me. I actually thought it was a man my first glance, until I caught onto the caption you placed underneath it. But it was very nicely done. They all had that very dark and poetic quality to them. The last you have there seems very rugged/hispstery. ^-^ I like it. Keep up the great work.

Nice, really great work. Its going to take me a while to review it all. In general your style is quite good. But to me it's a little 'emo' I really hate using that word, since it's so vague, but that is what comes to mind when I see your work.

Work no. 1
Plus: The style, messy pencil, really adds character to the work. Really sets it out. The hands also are alight with personality. Really a very nice piece.

Minus: The palms are questionable and the thumbs look a little strange. Although the hands are really good in general The thumbs and palms look most lazy compared to the fingers. I could just be the picture but a little more work there would help.

Work No.2
Plus: This too has character. Good choice in subject, a nice earnest piece. I really do like it. Fairly accurate face, your subject look quite hard to draw. Good job with the hands,

Minus: The face looks a little strange, especially the lips which are actually very well done apart from the strange positioning. I suggest next time you get a person to pose in that position and take a picture then use that picture as a reference. A little more jaw would be nice, it seems like you cut the face short. A little more detailing on the thumb would be good.

Nothing wrong with this in general. I think you used water color? but a good job!

Work no.4
Plus: Very beautiful, really good job at everything in general. Everything in the piece is well done and the composition is well balanced. I love the opened flower.

Minus: Nothing wrong with it really, I suppose the vines don't look right but that's just me. It just need something eye catching. But Don't worry, its a really good piece of work!

Work 5.
To me there is nothing wrong with this. I like your use of perspective and space. VERY VERY GOOD!!!! : )

These are REALLY good. They look almost real. The only one you could improve on is the last one. These are works of art and I'm excited to see more!

FINALLY a painter! I really liked all of these pieces. With the one that you were questioning, about the face, I see the same thing. The proportion and positioning is a bit off. But other than that it's good. I fell in love with the last one. You're shading was brilliant and it was just. Wow. I really really loved it to say in the least. But keep it up, these are really good. =]
