I thought this was going to be happy, dammit!

Anyway, it's good. I like it better than many of your poetry, mostly because the style is a little bit more traditional and I'm a very traditional gal. And the rhyming and metering was definitely there. It sounded very lyrical. But rather sad...

The poem was going well but the last lines seemed a bit rushed
Real poetry are those with the best words in the best order

Grrrrr...stop showing me everything and then posting it on YWS because then I don't get the excitement of coming here and saying, "Oh, look Brad wrote another poem for me to read!!!" :(

Hmmm I can't remember what I said before besides it made me want to give you a big hug but you know I loved it. I like the last stanza the most. I guess because we were just talking about it right before you showed me this. Good job,Brad...and I hope you find something to do for Thanksgiving that's fun...
