Well, I wasn't really but I thought the title might encourage someone to look

My name's Will (but not Smith unfortunately), and I'm actually from Bedford, UK. I'm 18 years old and I used to have an account on YWS a few years ago, but I forgot all the login details, so here I am again! Like most people I'm not really sure how to best introduce myself, so I'll give you a few quick facts that... give an insight into... me? (I don't know )

- Some of my favourite authors are: Cormac McCarthy, Philip K. Dick, Hubert Selby Jr. and Irvine Welsh.
- I play bass in a band called 'Quiz Team Assemble', and used to be in a band called 'The Delaneys'.
- I DJ under the moniker 'GHAN'.
- Recently, I started a podcast with two friends called 'Nearly Two Pints'.
- I'm a natural redhead (or 'ginger' as I generally say) and am very proud of it.
- My heritage is half Irish and half English.
- I feel like I've listed too many things and seem very arrogant.

Hey Will! Welcome back to YWS. Yes, your title got me to look, lol. Congratulations. Well, I read your post, and quite frankly I have to say I disagree. You don't seem arrogant at all. I think it's cool you're in a band. What kind of music do you all play?

Thanks very much, glad I didn't come off bad. I always feel like I'm being pompous talking about myself, so I just try and avoid it Our band plays indie tunes, we have a few mellow tracks and a lot of like... big "anthems" you could call them? I can't really think of a good comparison for a band, but we should be recording soon, so no doubt a post will surface in one of the YWS forums in the future

Thanks very much for the offer, once I get round to posting a few literary things, I might drop you a line just to kick start some feedback I'll probably take a look at your own stuff as well at some point, I always find it fascinating to see how people express themselves through prose/poetry in comparison to conversations!

Thanks man, as you can probably tell by them, I generally read quite "stark" or "brutal" depictions of the human condition. Thanks for welcoming me back, it's much appreciated from a veteran such as yourself!

Well, no, I'm not actually sure Yewis can cure ADHD (I also don't believe ADHD is an actual illness...) BUT we are cool anyway. Musicians are cool. Soulless (Did I spell soulless correctly?) demons Gingers are cool. English accents are cool. I know a kid that's half Irish, half Indian which turned out to be a very unique mix (I used to call him the Bollywood Lephrican. Yes. I am cool.)
