Hi!

So, I'm new to YWS. I'm fifteen years old and have been writing since I was eight. Poetry is my favorite to write, and Edgar Allen Poe and Robert Frost are my favorite poets. I love writing short stories and novels as well. I enjoy the plays of Shakespeare a lot - Romeo and Juliet is my favorite.

I hope I'll have fun around here! This looks like a pretty neat website.

Hi Juliet, welcome to YWS! There are lots of thing to do here, so I'm sure you'll love it. If you don't want to get to fancy you can just post your writing here, and almost everything you post gets at least one review unless it's a later chapter in a novel. Remember though, that to post things you need points (the little gold coint things at the top right of your screen) and the easiest way to get them is to review other people's works. On the other hand, if you do want to get fancy, you can try some of the wrting based games, contests, and challenges. Some are really easy, like the charecter role playing games in the community forums, but some are damn near impossible, like NaNoWriMo, where you have to write a novel in 30 days. if you ever need help finding something here, or one of your writings isn't getting any reviews, be sure to PM me, and I'll be glad to help in any way I can. have fun!
