Anyway, I'm sure you'll love it here! It can be a little confusing at first, but once you put the pieces together, you'll adore it! I'm sure. You happened to join on review day, so you have about 200 minutes until you can actually post a literary work...but that's not a big deal at all! Review day is a great day to, well...review! To review, you just read a member's piece and try and help them make it better by commenting on it. Try telling them what you liked, what you didn't like, and if they made any mistakes!

Anyway, don't hesitate to message me if you need anything!

Hi Rachel, welcome to YWS. I hope you like the site as much as I do, and if you ever need to know where to find something, or you want a review, just PM me, and I'll be happy to help. there are a whole bunch of great things to do here, including writing based challenges, games, contests, and all sorts of things. Some of them are easy to do, like the fun little forums you can find in the community tab. Others however are incredibly hard, like NaNoWriMo, where you have to write a novel in 30 days, or the advanced critiques, where you review a full novel every week. So dive in and get started! As soon as review day is over you can post some of your writing, just make sure you have enough points! P.S. you get points by reviewing people's work.
