Spoiler
I know that his makes absolutely no sense. It's sort of supposed to just be saying ways to set dark scenes, and different opportunities that could help with that. Yeah I don't know.

The blackest moment.
That broken heart.
Those hot tears
And raging anger.

The darkest night.
The deepest love.
Beyond ignorance;
The fiercest passion.

Through Sleepy Hallow
And into Dreamland.
High above the town;
Far below the sea.

Desolation.
Fidelity.
Animosity.
Express yourself.

Midnight poems.
Dark feelings.
Depression.

Hi! I really liked this poem, particularly because I'm into the macabre-y stuff myself, but I think you need to work on your fluidity, as it seems a bit jerky and awkward - or was that the intention?
I really liked this stanza:

It had a very good finality too it, which is essential in the end of a poem.
I also thought that the lines made up of one word was a good touch, and breaks up the usual four-line stanza structure. This is good, I'm clicking like! Keep writing!

Hey there,
great poem. It was well-thought-out, simply structured but truly effective. It flows! Bravo!

I really liked your poem. A little jerky, I thought, but it gives you scenes to see in your head, which is what I love so much about it.
"We're the new face of failure. Prettier, younger, but not any better off."

By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.
