Some of my previously published works include the short stories “The Devil’s Chariot” and “Gerard.” I am the author of the novel UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN; furthermore, my poems “Child Abuse,” “Mirror, Mirror,” and “The Flame before the Wick” have all won awards.

I am currently searching for a literary agent or publisher in order to breech the traditional publishing business. My recent work, POACHER, is almost prepared for submission. (Young Adult.)

POACHER's Synopsis:
Twelve-year-old Ronnie has seen shadow-like monsters since birth. After one of these dark beings causes his beloved mother to meet her doom, he becomes a poacher of the other side. The problem is, he’s taking on more than he bargained for when he tangles with creatures that are larger than life—and himself.
Failure teaches success.

Romaji? Ick, use hiragana next time. :D

Welcome to YWS! You sound experienced and sure of yourself. Hopefully you're open to providing critiques on here as well? A member such as yourself is quite valuable here, as many members are just starting to discover the process towards being published.

I'm not certain how successful you'll be here in finding an agent or publisher, as your pursuits elsewhere might be better off.

Also, for what it's worth, are you fine with how easily this can be tracked on the Internet? By "this" I mean, it took me a quick Internet search to find a profile elsewhere for you. I'm naturally a cautious, careful person so I understand if you don't care and are different from me.

Have fun and enjoy YWS!

I agree with MMM. Hiragana is much more enjoyable to read, though Katakana's cool too.. as long as its not romaji ;D.

Welcome to YWS! Its cool that you're so experienced in the writing world, but on here we are just a bunch of kids trying to help eachother out. If you want, I can review yours pieces! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

So welcome, welcome, and have some fun!

Hello! Welcome to YWS!

It's wonderful to see someone as experienced as yourself here on the site. With a site of young, aspiring writers, the questions about being published are often brought up. I'm sure you have plenty of advice to offer here!

You won't find agents or publishers here since we're more of a writers club in which we share works and advice. However, seeing as you have a potential YA novel, you could get some very useful feedback here!

Are you in university for a writing or language degree? Maybe you have other interests?

I look forward to seeing you around! Hopefully, YWS has treated you well these past few days. :)

Hello and welcome to YWS!

You seem like you love writing, and are pretty good at it, so I guess we don't need any words of encouragement. :) Here are my four tips to help you along your way here.

1. We do a 2:1 ratio thing here. That is, we expect 2 reviews for every 1 piece of work you post. That is however a bare minimum, it is always nice if you do more as it makes you acquainted with other people, and it helps your writing. (Seriously, one of the best things to learn how to write, is to read others work and edit it.)

2. To go along with the 2:1 ratio thing, your YWS points, are like your own bank of cash. 100 points are used to post a literary item and 50 points are gained per review.

3. As I said above, it is nice to review others work as they will want to review yours as a sort of repayment.

4. Be nice, and remember, anything is acceptable. Pictures, lyrics, short stories, poems.... There is a lot of different stuff you can do.

Hope you like it, and if you ever need a review, or have any questions, feel free to PM me.

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
