Hi all, I'm Angel,
I dont mind if you call me GA, or Angel as long as you don't say "Hey You!" :p
As you can see, I'm new. Im also a moderator on another site, which generally doesn't give me much time to write. I was involved in my schools Creative Writing course for two years before this year (I ended up taking AP courses instead of more electives) and also the schools Literary Magazine. I've been writing since around eigth grade and I can cover anything from Romance to Fantasy. In fact my first story here will probably, more than likely, be a short-story romance. I haven't quite mastered the art of long stories, and the longest thing i've ever written is probably somewhere between 250-700 words other than analytical essays. My goal is to someday write a book, and i'm hoping this site will help me do that.
I hope to enjoy being here and to have fun. :}

"Hey there angel!"

"First off, I have a proposition to you. Would you like to be a guardian angel in King Horus' court?"

"Oh shut up Horus.... Sorry, this is me, the actual Host of Horus... Anyway, welcome to YWS! Your going to love it here. You said your goal is to someday write a book, and rest assured, we can help you out with that. Some tips and things to know:

1. We do a 2:1 ratio thing here. That is, we expect 2 reviews for every 1 piece of work you post. That is however a bare minimum, it is always nice if you do more as it makes you acquainted with other people, and it helps your writing. (Seriously, one of the best things to learn how to write, is to read others work and edit it.)

2. To go along with the 2:1 ratio thing, your YWS points, are like your own bank of cash. 100 points are used to post a literary item and 50 points are gained per review.

3. As I said above, it is nice to review others work as they will want to review yours as a sort of repayment.

4. Be nice, and remember, anything is acceptable. Pictures, lyrics, short stories, poems.... There is a lot of different stuff you can do.

So finally, I love the stories you say your interested in (Romantic and Fantasy) and I would love to review your first one if you would like! Just drop a post on the link in my signature!"

"What he mean's to say is I would love to do the review."

"Oh shut up Horus! I'm the one typing!"

"I tell you everything to type...."

"Anyway, hope you like it here, and if you have any questions feel free to PM me!"

hey Angel!

What's the site you are a moderator of?

Sounds like you've been involved with writing for a long time, so you'll fit right in here (surprisingly).

If you need any help with anything, feel free to PM me, I've been here long enough to know most of it inside out.
