Hi, I'm Rachel :3

I heard about this site in Writer's Digest Magazine and decided to check it out for myself.

I am a Writing Arts Major at Rowan University in New Jersey. Writing is my passion and my life. I write mostly poetry, but there are a few stories I have been working on (I need to get back to work on those). My favorite poets are Sylvia Plath and W.B Yeats. My favorite authors include Richard Adams, Elizabeth Cunningham, Willa S. Cather. I have too many favorite books to list here.

So yeah. I am here in hopes of improving my writing. I'm Rachel and it's nice to meet you all~

Welcome to YWS! I also like to write poetry and find this site very helpful. I would recommend you review others work before submitting your own. This way some people will be following you and know when you have submitted something. I hope you enjoy it here and if you have any questions I would be happy to help you out!

Hey Rachel!

Welcome to the site.
Hope your enjoying yourself. We're all crazy around here but you should get used to it!
If you want some help just give my a buzz or pop a note on my profile and I'll do my best to help you out! I was new not too long ago and it can get quite confusing.

Heres some tips to help you along!
-Points are like YWS money. You need points to be able to submit or post any of your stories/poems etc...
-To earn points you must review other peoples work. You can set up a review thread which is where people will ask you to review their work.
- If you don't review for others, others mianly won't review for you.
- Following people is like adding a friend.
- You can submit more then stories around here! You can submit, poems, art and photography, scripts, plays, lyrics, music videos, movie/book (published) reviews and lots more!

That'll do for now but if your still confused just let me know!

Hmm, I guess Kakagirl kind of covered it all. I was going to mention all of the said above, but stopped just in time. Thank goodness.
Anyhow, welcome! It's nice to see another YWS'er join our ranks. Hopefull you'll like it here.
