Hi everyone! I'm new here!

Hi, my name is Shanelle and I just joined this site a little bit ago. This place seems really nice and I'm loving it so far. Anyway I've been writing for about two years, if I can remember correctly. I write and read fantasy. I've recently finished my first novella, Innocence of a Demon. I'm working on a few other things, but they're being a bit difficult. Well, aside from fantasy I read horror, mystery, and manga. My favorite books are The Chronicles of Malus Darkblade, The Name of the Wind, Interview with a Vampire, and Piper. Reading and writing aside I love to draw, play video games, learn new things and listen to music. That's about all I can think of to mention right now, if you want to know more just ask.

Hi! Welcome to YWS! So, I (finally) started reading Interview with a Vampire, and I kind of love it. I haven't read any of the other books you mentioned, so I may have to add those to my list of books to nab at the library!

If you have any questions about YWS, feel free to ask! Have you written anything beside fantasy? And in what way are your other project being difficult? We may be able to help! And if not, we (meaning all of YWS) can commiserate!

YWS is really a nice place. Nearly everyone here is friendly and willing to help you make your stay here as comfortable as possible. Kind of like a fancy, digital inn, but free and snazzier. Anyway, it seems we share similar tastes! I adore the fantasy genre!My first novel was a fantasy romance. Your novella sounds interesting. I am a pathetic artist, but I enjoy admiring art itself. I'm a manga and anime fan. What manga is your avatar from? It looks so familiar...

Hope your enjoying yourself. We're all crazy around here but you should get used to it!
If you want some help just i=give my a buzz or pop a note on my profile and I'll do my best to help you out! I was new not too long ago and it can get quite confusing.

Heres some tips to help you along!
-Points are like YWS money. You need points to be able to submit or post any of your stories/poems etc...
-To earn points you must review other peoples work. You can set up a review thread which is where people will ask you to review their work.
- If you don't review for others, others mianly won't review for you.
- Following people is like adding a friend.
- You can submit more then stories around here! You can submit, poems, art and photography, scripts, plays, lyrics, music videos, movie/book (published) reviews and lots more!

That'll do for now but if your still confused just let me know!
