Photography, Clay and Photos of Clay

These are an amalgam of pictures taken over roughly a month. None of the categories have no relation to each other, which is why I have separated them.

Ruins:
These were taken at some old park where old Khmer ruins were kept up. I climbed every pedestal, pillar and pinnacle I could see, as evident in these photos.
Obviously, I only took the one with the feet in it, but I still count these as my pictures, since my younger sister had to handle the camera, and I was shouting down to her from my lofty heights, telling her what to press and when.

These have all been edited with a special combination of filters I use. I really just turned the saturation down and upped the lightness, but it turned out surprisingly well for such a simple procedure.

Lol, anyway, the architecture looks a lot like this one set of temples near here. Really. It could very well pass to be in Mahabalipuram. I like the poses and angles. You have a very talented sister. Be sure to tell her.

Set II

1. While I love the colours and saturation, there seems a lot going on in the photo. I like some sort of focal point in photos.
2. Interesting. I think you could've tried shifting with this angle. There's some white blurs in the centre. Light?

4.I'm thinking, it would've looked nicer without the trees. The gray trees make it half-dead-ish and sombre. Also; the animal-entrance thing is again a LOT like architecture here.
5. Can't say an original idea, but great shot!

Nice workstation! Lol! Mine's probably messier. (Me thinks you should work on the eyes in your WIP. Work on making it seem more dreamy/glazed, I guess.)

So yeah, you're desk is messy. I actually need a new desk, I can't even draw without one...
As for your photography, it's all quite good. It seems like you were playing around for the first few and they were fun to look at and then afterwards they became more serious. Although you did a good job, to me, they were slightly bland. I didn't feel much from them and I could tell you tried with different angles and such and such but I dunno... something was just missing.
I wish I could be more help but I'm not very good with photography. Drawing wise, I'm a more experienced there. :3

Anyways, it's a great collection you have. Also, I love the picture that you drew - the one on your clipboard thingy.
It's very good. ^^

Hey guys, thanks for the helpful tips and comments.

Lava - The ruins were in Thailand, but technically they were Burmese ruins. I think the Burmese people borrowed a lot of architecture from India (and so did the Thai) so that's probably why you see similarities.
As for the photos...yeah, I'm an amateur at this. Cornerstone was my personal (and sole) favorite actually.
