Hey! Obviously, I'm new here. So, anyone want to show me the ropes? I've learned a little from my sister, hammyhannerz, so I know the basics.

It's cool that you've got someone to learn off - when I joined I bumbled around YWS for a few months straight, then finally realised that flooding forums with chat-speak and emo poetry wasn't the way to go about it!

If you do need any help (or want someone to 'show you the ropes') I'm always happy to answer any questions you have. Or you can just PM anyone dressed in green - that's what we're here for!

What kind of things do you like to write? Do you write what you read, or are the two completely different?

Hello, and welcome to the crazy :D

YWS is pretty easy to get used to/navigate after a bit, so just stick around and you'll do just fine :P You might be interested in poking around the YWS section of the Knowledge Base; it's got lots of tips on reviewing and answers to some questions new members might have.

I see you've already been reviewing, which is great--it's one of the best ways to get to know people and get known in return. You might also want to come and visit the chatroom, where more crazy happens (if you stumble in in the middle of some discussion of how to best torture characters and/or what color should one's room be painted, don't worry. We can be random like that.)
